Whether you are looking for a traditional, framed ledger and braced oak door, properly jointed and fixed with hand made rose head nails, or a more contemporary feel. Past works range from 3″ thick solid oak doors.We do a lot of work for both our new, and refurbished frames, from solid oak fireplace surrounds to oak beam staircases.
All of our oak staircases are bespoke; from solid ‘block-beam’ to more conventional tread and stringer stairs. Having made many different types of staircases, from straight flights to more complicated stairs that include numerous winders and landings, we feel confident to help with anything you have in mind. Past works have included solid beam oak staircases for listed buildings to more elegant staircases with ornate balustrades.
All commissioned pieces can have lettering carved into any face by hand. We have made sign posts for houses from solid slabs of oak, hanging signs for pubs and commercial signs.
Whatever you have in mind, we always enjoy the chance to make something one-off.
